Persistent woodpecker damage afflicted the cedar trim as a result of insufficient sealing, with moisture softening the wood and attracting woodpecker prey such as ants. To remedy this, we replaced the compromised trim, addressed the house wrap issues, and installed fresh cedar with proper sealing. The addition of a few new boards not only resolved the structural concerns but also brought about a notable aesthetic enhancement to the overall appearance.
