Our customers had been living with a worn-down redwood deck for years - floorboards were completely rotten or even missing! To fix this, we began by rebuilding the deck surface with kiln-dried heat-treated (KDHT) 2x6 pine which makes for one stout platform! Then the smaller, but taller, deck received a new treated pine and wrought iron railing for both safety and looks. Lastly, we were on to the star of the show - the PERGOLA! With a fresh aesthetic, this outdoor living space became a focal centerpiece of their backyard providing just the right balance of shade and sun.
